Villa Thea Charming House

Soggiornare in questa villa a Carovigno è stata un'esperienza indimenticabile! La posizione tranquilla e riservata, immersa negli ulivi secolari della Puglia, ha reso il nostro soggiorno estremamente rilassante. La piscina con vista panoramica campagna è stata perfetta. L'appartamento, elegante, arredato con design offre tutto il comfort

Un piccolo paradiso nel cuore della campagna pugliese. La struttura è perfetta per una vacanza rilassante non lontano dal mare e dai tipici paesi della Valle d’Itria!

Whilst the villa is in a great location if you’re looking for some peace and quite, overall we were extremely disappointed with our stay. Starting with the positives, the pool area is lovely however the loungers and chairs lack cushions to make for a relaxing day. This stems from the fact that the accommodation is being advertised as a one bedroom villa, with images on the advertisement showing a sofa where there now stands a kitchen. This means that whilst we thought we had booked a one bed, what we actually got was a studio due to being misled via the false advertisement of the property. Upon arrival we complained and were told that there’s nothing that could be done and that the one bedroom we had booked did not exist. Further to this the property is quite run down. The kitchen sink leaks causing mould on the plates and parts of the bathroom shower weren’t working. As this is a studio and not a one bed you are expected to sleep in the same room as the bins. The kitchen is also made from chicken wire. Most shockingly there was blood stains on the bed and walls from where people had swatted mosquitoes. Considering what we paid, and the fact that at least half of the fee went to the management company, we’d really expect the accommodation to be in better condition and then to be able to advertise it in the correct way.

For the price it’s decent. A really silent chill place. The pool is pretty good too. I feel like there is so much more potential for this place as it is not that well-maintained. Rooms are fine but our villa was full of ants and other bugs. The dishes had mold on them and the shower had temperature issues (which was partially fixed later). The bed is also quite uncomfortable since you cant sit laying on your back. Still for the price, I’d say it was decent.

La Villa Thea est un endroit chaleureux, au calme au milieu des champs d'oliviers et d'une propreté irréprochable. Il y a tout le confort que vous attendez en vacances avec la grande piscine, la belle terrasse ombragée et les gérants Ida et William sont très attentifs à vos besoins. Vous pouvez goûter à leur délicieuse cuisine traditionnelle italienne, sur la terrasse: un vrai régal! Nous avons adoré cette expérience et nous reviendrons à coup sûr!
