Board the Celebrity Reflection® in Rome, Italy, for a 6-night Western Mediterranean cruise to unforgettable ports in Italy and France. From “The Eternal City,” sail to Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Italy, for a leisurely walk along its gorgeous waterfront and a recommended nostalgic tour of San Giorgio
Castle. You will then sail on to quaint Nice (Villefranche), France. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes for the cobblestone paths as you meander through one of Jean Cocteau’s favorite places.
Next stop is Ajaccio, capital of Corsica, and perhaps more notably the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. You will then sail on to explore the island of Sardinia. This lovely Mediterranean island offers white sands surrounded by clear waters for the ultimate place to unwind with beach fun.
Next, it’s on to Naples, where one can experience the coastal city’s cuisine that features superb seafood, pasta, cheese-based snacks and fried foods. From there, you’ll cruise back to Rome to disembark.
What we love:
• Parts of the impressive San Giorgio Castle date back to the 13th century.
• While in Ajaccio, explore the pastel painted houses of the old town or visit any of the monuments or museums dedicated in Napoleon’s honor.
• Naples’ historic center — a UNESCO World Heritage site — is the largest historic center in Europe and one of the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world. It was founded by Greek settlers in 470 B.C. as Neapolis, meaning “New City.”
